Timber Decking Oil
Some timber and decking oils are imported from overseas but the majority are made in Australia, mostly by large multinational companies. Sceneys supplies one of the few Australian owned and made decking oil products currently available on the market.

Our timber and decking oils are formulated from a blend of linseed oils that are mould-free and mixed with a hard-wearing natural oil resin. This creates a product that soaks deep into the timber and provides the best protection against Australia`s harsh weather conditions.
The best results come from applying the oil in thin coats and spreading it out as much as possible. If applied too thickly it will be tacky in some areas (where the oil settles the thickest) and dry more slowly. But this is not a problem; it only means that the oil is drying at a slower rate (see Frequently Asked Questions for a more thorough explanation).
Only re-apply the oil when the surface looks dry. Simply give the deck a quick clean and when completely dry apply one quick thin coat to bring back the beauty of the colour and grain.
Sceneys timber & clear decking oils can be tinted with normal paint tints to add more colour and beauty to tired and weathered decks.
